War Academy and advanced Truegold research

Distinguish T11 unlocks from the separate advanced tree and budget Dust alongside Tempered Truegold.

Separate the research systems

Ordinary War Academy research includes troop-tier unlocks. Advanced Truegold Research is a separate tree and does not itself raise soldier levels. The official rollout order is Truegold 8, then Advanced Truegold Research, then Truegold 10. The building requirement on an individual technology is not the kingdom-wide release condition.

Choose a branch for a specific benefit

  • Use the War Academy calculator for the troop-unlock path and the advanced calculator for the later tree.
  • Count all prerequisites and include Truegold Dust, Tempered Truegold, ordinary resources and research time.
  • Compare economy and Dust-efficiency unlocks with the combat or capacity target they would delay. Do not call an upgrade free merely because it lowers future costs.
  • Keep advanced research’s separate queue active when affordable; it does not consume the other technology queue.

Share the rare-material budget

Tempered Truegold also funds later buildings. Compare the next useful building unlock with the next completed research benefit, rather than treating the tree’s full maximum cost as an immediate shopping goal. Use actual in-game availability when an older kingdom timeline disagrees.
