Read the hero’s own gear ability
Mythic heroes have different Exclusive Gear effects. A level that unlocks a useful ability for one hero can do something different for another. Decide whether you need the Conquest or Expedition effect, then read that hero’s gear table and the relevant level requirement.
Before spending widgets
- Check whether the widgets are hero-specific or generic for an eligible generation. Similar icons do not mean interchangeable items.
- Calculate the cost from your current level, including the specific widgets already in your bag.
- Compare an ability breakpoint with ordinary stat increases. Do not assume maxing every new hero is the best first target.
- If the hero will replace an existing march member, include the cost of bringing their skills and regular gear up to a usable level.
Buy the missing amount deliberately
A shop bundle or choice chest should finish a plan, not choose it for you. Keep unopened choice items until you know which eligible hero and breakpoint you want. Avoid spending generic widgets on a hero you do not intend to field.
