Choose a wish you actually need
Select the wish reward before spending Fortune Tokens, then compare the changing flip costs with your budget. An early reveal and a complete board do not cost the same. Keep enough tokens for the next decision instead of assuming every card has the opening price.
Read the board before another flip
- Consecutive multiplier cards add together: the official example is 2× plus 4× giving 6×, not 8×. They apply to the next reward.
- The reset cost changes as you reveal cards. Compare paying to restart with revealing another card; neither is always the cheapest choice.
- Do not count an unclaimed wish as guaranteed value in a small spending budget. A possible reward and a completed reward are different.
- The reference states that Fortune Tokens persist. Check the current item description before using a different event’s expiry rule.
Stop at a planned threshold
Use the next useful reward or a fixed token allowance as your stopping point. Finding a multiplier does not require spending beyond that allowance. Keep any saved tokens labelled for this event so they are not confused with similarly named seasonal currencies.
