Oasis decoration upgrades and Type Limits

Compare useful bonuses, Prosperity and duplicate-copy costs before buying or dismantling.

Count placed copies within the Type Limit

Ordinary decorations contribute only while placed. Each type has a limit; higher-level placed copies take priority, and copies above that limit do not add the same bonus again. Stored copies add neither Prosperity nor stat bonuses. A full-looking island is not proof that every item is contributing.

Choose the next useful upgrade

  • Read the decoration’s level table and count the spare level-one copies it consumes. Include the copy you are upgrading when comparing a total-copy figure.
  • If a Fountain upgrade is blocked by Prosperity, compare eligible decorations that can actually increase the counted total.
  • If you want a combat or economy bonus, compare the increase at the next level against its copy cost. A large Prosperity number is not the same objective.
  • Keep event-only copies until you understand their source, Type Limit and component eligibility. Replacing a rare decoration can be harder than buying an ordinary one.

Dismantling and recycling do different things

Dismantling an upgraded ordinary decoration recovers its component copies; selling at the Recycle Shop removes eligible items for Water Essence. Check the confirmation and the specific item rules. Fountain and Reservoir upgrades do not follow the ordinary duplicate-copy process.
