Choosing and opening reward chests

Distinguish fixed bundles, choice chests, ordinary random draws and special reward counters.

Identify the kind of chest first

A fixed bundle grants the listed contents. A choice chest asks you to select from its options. A random chest draws from a pool, and its contents can be very different from another chest with similar artwork. Read the name and preview before opening a large batch.

Compare what you will actually receive

  • Multiply the quantity by the item size. Forty 10K Bread packs represent 400K Bread; they are not forty individual Bread.
  • For choice chests, select the material that completes a useful upgrade. Check whether the chest offers resources, shards, gear or a particular generation’s items.
  • For random rewards, treat the displayed chance as a chance per ordinary draw. A 1% result is not a promise that the next hundred openings will contain it.
  • Check for a separate guarantee or progress counter. Ordinary reward probabilities alone do not explain every special chest rule.

Keep categories separate

Ocean reward chests have specialised pools for resources, training, research and other materials. The Ocean Fishing Chest is another item. Trial Chest and Splendid Trial Chest also use different ordinary reward pools. When planning an upgrade, count guaranteed items you own separately from rewards you might receive.
