Check what the exchange accepts
The Fair is a way to turn eligible surplus into Trading Vouchers. The official FAQ restricts shard exchange to excess shards from a maxed hero. Shards merely sitting unused in your bag are not necessarily eligible, and a hero you have stopped building is not the same as a maxed hero.
Build a shopping list
- Check the current exchange list for both hero shards and skill books, including any generation or rarity restrictions.
- Reserve materials needed by heroes you intend to finish. Compare the voucher value with that lost upgrade before exchanging.
- Use the shop’s quantity and limit to calculate the total cost of a target. One displayed offer can contain several items.
- Prioritise a known bottleneck such as the next gear upgrade over buying a small amount of everything.
Persistent vouchers change the deadline
Unused vouchers can carry to a later Fair. You do not need to make a weak purchase merely to empty the balance. Still claim completed exchanges and check the live calendar: the official FAQ describes a two-day Fair, not a permanently open shop.
