Using the Drill Camp

Keep five instructors progressing and use shared levels without wasting slot cooldowns.

Raise the floor of your instructor group

Your five highest-level heroes become Drill Instructors. Heroes assigned to slots inherit the lowest instructor level. Raising only the highest instructor does not raise that shared minimum; check which of the five is holding the floor down before spending Hero XP.

Use slots deliberately

  • Put heroes you need for another formation or event into available slots rather than independently levelling every hero.
  • A hero in a slot can still gain stars and skill upgrades. The Camp shares levels, not all forms of hero progression.
  • Removing a hero restores that hero’s prior level and starts a 24-hour cooldown on the slot. Plan replacements before an event begins.
  • Additional slots unlock at Town Center milestones. Check the slot table before assuming all fifteen are available at the initial unlock.

Review the group after changes

Levelling or resetting an instructor can change the lowest level inherited by the Camp. Check the five instructors and your event formation after a reset. A shared level does not grant the stars, skill levels or gear needed to reproduce another hero’s performance.

Preview a change to your roster

Enter base levels in the Drill Camp visualiser. It chooses the five highest instructors automatically, shows the lowest level they share and limits training slots to your Town Center unlocks. This makes it easier to see whether raising one instructor actually improves the whole group.
