Plan a usable hero, not just an unlock
Check the next star breakpoint, skill access and gear requirement before choosing a hero. Unlocking many heroes does not make all of them ready for your strongest march. The shard calculator can compare the remaining cost to a specific star target.
Read the recruitment pool
- Gold Keys are used for Epic Recruitment and Platinum Keys for Advanced Recruitment. Inspect the current pool before using a saved stack.
- Kingdom generation changes availability. A hero appearing in a later kingdom’s recruitment screenshot may not be in your pool.
- Hero-specific shards, generic shards and choice chests have different eligibility. Read the item before selecting a target.
- Time saved keys with a scoring event only when its current rules count the recruitment action.
Keep alternatives visible
Hero Roulette, Hall of Heroes and recruitment are different routes with different costs and guarantees. Compare a complete target across them; do not treat a random pool as a fixed-price purchase. Keep surplus shards separate from the shards still required to finish a hero before considering Champagne Fair exchanges.
