Separate your two currencies
Fishing Points advance event progress and ranking. Fishing Tokens pay for Fishing Kit upgrades and Sunken Treasure Hunt draws. Spending Tokens does not erase the Points already earned. Plan the Kit upgrades you need before committing Tokens to a reward draw.
Use the free opportunities
- Check regenerating Bait and the remaining storage in your event so it does not sit at the cap.
- Claim daily Treasure Charts and the Guild rewards already unlocked.
- Read the Fishing Voucher effect before using it: it boosts Fishing Points and Tokens by 1.5 times.
- Use the handbook to identify missing catches, while checking that they belong to the active fishing season.
Kit upgrades and special attempts
- Compare the Line, Hook and Sinker costs in the data reference before a major upgrade.
- Ocean Prospector uses Treasure Charts and provides a maxed Fishing Kit for that mode. Separately, the upgraded event format can start your regular Kit at max level once its conditions are met.
- The ordinary Power Cast options are 2×–5×; the upgraded format also supports 10×. Check the option available in your event before budgeting multiple casts.
- The Seaweed Guide adds a fifth collection category and its own completion reward once unlocked.
- Revealing Sunken Treasure Hunt and meeting its participation conditions are separate steps.
- A ten-draw Sunken Treasure Hunt costs exactly ten single draws in this format. Do not assume a bulk discount.
Keep optional spending bounded
The Guild has separate free and paid tracks. Claim the free rewards without assuming a paid upgrade is needed to participate. Before buying a track, inspect what its current reward list adds to what you will actually earn before the event closes.
