How it works
Use Baits for regular fishing or Treasure Charts for Ocean Prospector attempts. Fishing Points determine progress and ranking, while Fishing Tokens improve gear or fund Sunken Treasure Hunts.

Costs and limits
- A regular cast uses 1 × Bait. You start with 5 × Bait.
- Ocean Prospector uses 1 × Treasure Chart; the daily claim is 1 × Treasure Chart.
- The ordinary Power Cast options are 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×. The upgraded event format adds 10× when its progression conditions are met.
- Power Cast spends the selected multiple of Bait or Treasure Charts. It multiplies Fishing Points and Tokens, while special item effects follow their own rules.
Upgraded Fishing and Seaweed Guide
The current client also supports an automatically maxed starting Fishing Kit and 10× Power Cast once the upgraded format unlocks. These are progression-dependent features; the ordinary Kit upgrade costs still apply before that unlock. The Seaweed Guide is a fifth collection category with its own entry requirements and completion reward.
