Check the mark as well as the hero
Hall of Heroes uses generation-specific Marks of Valor. Similar-looking marks can name different heroes, so check the description and exchange panel before buying. Decide whether you are unlocking a hero you will build or advancing an existing hero to a useful star breakpoint.
Before exchanging
- Check the hero currently offered in your kingdom, rather than following a screenshot from a different generation.
- Inspect the mark variant in your bag and the number of marks required for one shard.
- Count shards needed for the planned unlock or star upgrade.
- Claim free event rewards before estimating the Gems still required.
- Do not confuse unlocking a new hero with having enough shards, skills and equipment to use that hero effectively.
